Anime Los Angeles 2025 (ALA) is a favorite Southern California (SoCal) Anime convention (Con).
ALA the first Anime Con of each year beginning in January.

Anime Los Angeles’s roots run deep, blossoming since 2005. Starting in 2019 with just a 4-day format. It has quickly become the first and foremost anime con of the year in SoCal. Its rise to international fame began in 2016. Attracting cosplayers from around the world, with a large contingent hailing from Europe. This global recognition showcases ALA’s commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive space for anime enthusiasts of all backgrounds and interests.

Anime LA isn’t just your average Japanese culture event. This captures the blending of anime, fashion, and community into something new and exciting. What truly sets Anime LA apart from other anime conventions is its dedication to showcasing diverse and creative fashion. Particularly in spite of its elaborate Lolita fashion shows. These shows have become a cornerstone of the ALA experience. Captivating audiences with their stunning displays of craftsmanship, originality, and intricate detail.

Started with approximately 600 people and has grown to over 16,000* con goers.

Anime Los Angeles (ALA) began at hotel with local Southern California (soCal) picnic events to promote Anime Con from 2005 to present

List of locations are listed below
First in various LA county hotels (Van Nuys, Burbank, & Los Angeles). After out growing the hotel with sold out tickets in 2015. They moved to Ontario Convention center with 2019 as can be seen the last time. Reaching maxim cap and covid-19 they moved to Long Beach Convention Center in 2022.
